Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to box Floyd Mayweather Jr (40-0-0, 25 KOs) on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight is being promoted by Bob Arum of Top Rank and Oscar De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions and will be televised live on HBO PPV.
Pacquiao made history winning a seventh world title in a seventh weight class beating former WBO Welterweight Champion Miguel Angel Cotto (34-2-0, 27 KOs) by 12th round TKO on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight at 0:55 of round twelve with Cotto no longer in the fight and just trying to survive after being downed in rounds three and four and his face a bloody mess.
